Bush to Meet with Big 3
President George W. Bush will meet with leaders of Detroit's three automakers Tuesday.
General Motors Corp. Chairman Rick Wagoner, Chrysler Group Chief Executive Tom LaSorda and Ford Motor Co. Chief Executive Alan Mulally are expected to explore a number of issues with the president, namely health care, trade and energy concerns.

The automakers have expressed frustration over the past several months with the administration's approach to problems such as legacy costs -- the higher price tag U.S. automakers pay for health care and pensions because of its older workforce.
The Bush administration has contended that the U.S. economy, including manufacturing, was firing on all cylinders, and the president has said that Detroit's automakers needed to build more relevant vehicles.
